| So as most all of you know, last week my family and I went to a family reunion in North Carolina, on a BEACH HOUSE on the shore by the ocean. My Aunt Elisa and Uncle Torry, and Uncle Isaac and Aunt Kelly, Papa's brother and sister's families, came too, both of them I hadn't seen for like 4-5 years.
Ok, so we woke up early got in the van and left...yah yah yah yah... and we got there about 8 hours later. lol. Ok, so we talked a bunch and did some stuff. Later that evening we had an Easter egg hunt and then took a walk on the beach. Lets see the next day we talked, and ate, and played on the beach, and hung out and had fun. The next day, Wednesday, we were trying to make a banana with a face, with a model of a banana we had that someone dropped in the sand I think. But when the banana's head kept falling apart we decided to make it into a sea TURTLE. Of course... his head kept falling apart too. But we finally FIXED that.
Me and Papa sword fought, I showed him how, and we fought a lil, then me and Jacob, my cousin, did, and later on, me and UNCLE ISAAC did a little. I thought it'd be fun to sword fight on the beach. That way... if you accidentally hit the ground, it wouldn't matter, and it'd look more epic on the beach too. It was cool. But it wasn't like... crazy awesome, but it was fun. lol.
So twice I went in the ocean. Both times it was like super cold. lol. Ok not really super cold, just kinda cold. But when you moved around a bunch in the water you'd warm up. I at first played in the waves, then I went body surfing with my cousin's board. The waves that day were crazy. Like when I was out there without a board, there was this humungous wave that I'd guess was around 15 feet tall. Of course anything huge that scares you might seem a lil taller than it actually was. But it was HUGE!! It slammed into me, and the next thing I know, I got slammed into the ocean floor. lol.
Anyways when I got the board I did a lil better, but there were so many big waves it was hard. The waves were big, but choppy so kinda hard to ride.
The next day was better, there were some big waves, but a lot smoother and easier to ride. Of course I still got taken down by some of em, like this one where it yanked the board's cord off my wrist, and another where it basically slammed me face first into the sand. lol. But it was fun. When I got out though, I guess me body realized how cold it was and I started shivering like crazy even though I didn't really feel cold. I was exhausted too, playing out in the waves is a workout. But it was a lotta FUN.
Most of the time we were there it was overcast. It wasn't really cold, just kinda overcast and not sunny. I never wore sun protection and the whole time, didn't get a burn except a lil on my face the first day, which was a very nice day and we had the sun that whole one. We played ultimate frisbee and volleyball with a line drawn for our net. lol. Random fact. We saw dolphins in the water occasionally too. The usually poked their fin and tops of their head and back out, but sometimes they jumped out. I saw it happen, but when I told peeps they didn't believe me. :( lol, oh well :)
Uncle Isaac's family brought a wii. I'd only played one 1 other time, so it was fun to try again. I think I did pretty well at golf. And boxing is like crazy, you get so tired after 1 game of that. lol. This one game of tennis was really intense. I'm playing against my cousin Daniel, and we kept getting a tie, and then there's where he's up one, and I get back to a tie, and then I'm up one on him, and then he gets it, and there's a tie again... anyways that went back and forth like at least 10 times! lol. And Daniel is like 8 years old. He did very good. Anyways I ended up winning later. Later on I was playing a single against the wii computer for a picture of me PLAYING. And I didn't realize it but my hand was getting pretty sweaty from the game with Daniel. Anyways there was this one hard swing, and the next thing I know the controller shoots straight out of my hand. Thank God I was wearing the wii-mote hand strap though :). It woulda flown straight into this glass shelf thing in the living room. So that was fun. We also did stuff like bowling. Uncle Isaac, Aunt Kelly, Jacob, and even Elliot (5 years old), all beat me at it though. :D But it was fun anyways.
We usually played card games like spoons, egyptian rat-trap and Apples-to-Apples, and... 31 I think it was called. I did a few card tricks of what I could vaguely remember, and they liked them, I think, so that was good :).
On Wednesday we had the "Lovelace Olympics", we did stuff like an obstacle course, and egg TOSS and egg relays and stuff. We also had a 40 paces foot race. We had different heats to see who would be in the final race. The finalists were Jacob, Nathan, Michael, Josiah, and me. I didn't know what to think about Jacob but I knew I could beat my brothers. At the finish line Jacob and I both ran past so closely that there was no way you could tell who won. We had it recorded too, and you could play it 100X and you still couldn't tell. When played in slow motion you could see it basically was a perfect TIE. Our front foot passed the line at the same time. We had another race with just Jacob and I and once again it was very close. Uncle Isaac and Torry both checked the camera and decided the winner but didn't tell us until like 5 hours later at our family meeting when we talked about what we liked about the reunion.
I said I liked getting to hang out with and meet and get to know, and have fun with my family which I hadn't been able to see very much.
In the video it was extremely close, but the winner turned out to be me :). It was very cool watching it. It was like the Michael Phelps stuff on the Olympics, because it was almost even and Jacob was a little ahead, but I put my foot out and won it. But yeah, Jacob did really good, he's about a year younger than me, but we're like the exact same speed.
Anyways it was a lot of fun. I thought it was too short (Sunday-Thursday) and it was too bad we had to leave so soon, but we're planning to have another one next year, maybe with some more family on Papa's side too.
So yeah... umm I might be forgetting some of the other fun stuff we did. But it was great. The best family reunion I've ever HAD. But yeah. Anyways. Thanks for reading, have a great day, later... | | |
| Hey everyone, thanks for dropping by.
So 2 weeks ago me and my whole family went down to Florida for Thanksgiving, we took two cars of course though. Anyways, so it was good, we had it with my dad's mom and our Aunt on his side's family. It was different from my normal Thanksgiving with my mom's side of the family, but it was nice. There were people there I've never seen in my life and types of food I've never eaten, but it was good, and it was cool. lol. Anyways we stayed down there a few days longer. One day we went to the beach and since the waves weren't very strong that day I went swimming a lil out, where the water was above my head, I never checked exactly how deep. Anyways I'm swimmin' and swimmin', and its pretty fun, and then all the sudden it felt like someone touched my toe. So I'm like... is Michael out here? Anyways I turn around and I see this like 2-3 ft. shark. And I'm like... oh snap. Lol JUST KIDDING. It was just a 10-12 inch jellyfish... lol. Which produced similar results, and I was like... umm... yeah I'm gonna get outta here now. We ended up catching it later, and after looking at it and touching the top of it, (like on Nemo, where you can touch the top... lol), I threw it in the dune grass that had a sign by it that said, "DO NOT WALK IN THE DUNE GRASS!" Lol. Let's hope the people obeyed the sign. lol. Anyways it was a good visit with our relatives that we only see like 1X a year. But yeah. And we had a good trip back up.
So the art of sword fighting has become pretty interesting to me lately. Which is why I ordered 2 practice ninja swords (katanas, bokkens, whatever you wanna call them), made of wood, (for practicing, that's why they're called practice swords, lol). They should get here soon, and I plan on practicing with Michael, if he wants to, and he will, and I'll be careful, don't worry. lol. By the way people, what would be the coolest color of LIGHTSABER? Blue, Green, Red, Orange, or Silver? And yes I'm asking that for a reason... lol.
So basketball has been going pretty good, I go every Tuseday and Thursday for practice. Of course I practice at home too. Last Thursday we had a game, we lost, but I had a lot of fun. I got the ball a bunch and Bro. Larry let me stay in the whole game, (he switched out other peeps to let everyone play, but not me :D). I've been practicing a lot, and with God's help I've been getting better. Hey, this game I actually didn't get punched in the jaw and poked in the eye on accident too! That always helps! lol. I jumped a lot and got the ball in the air before anyone else could too, :D. And I didn't realized it until after the game was over, but the nets were lower than the ones we practice with, and I coulda prolly slam dunked the ball if I tried. Anyways, like I said, it was fun, and I donno if I portrayed that clearly or not, but it was for me, so there. lol.
It's gonna stink because our last game before Christmas break is gonna be on a Monday and my closing semester class for co-op is that same day. So I think I'm gonna skip the game and go to co-op, but my team needs me because I'm becoming more valuable to them (meaning I'm practicing a lot, lol), and this rival team is just about as good as us. But yeah, they'll be alright if I can't make it though.
You know lately you could see Jupiter and some other planet in the sky? It looked like a really bright star. I thought that was pretty awesome. But yeah... random info from Daniel, lol. Oh yeah and some guy washed up on the beach... Ok... some even more random info from Daniel... and yes that's me. lol.
So we went to the GA Aquarium with Victory, that was pretty sweet, next week we are going to Callaway Gardens. I really donno anything about it, except it has butterflies and birds of prey, but hey, I'll go if I can anyways, lol.
So 2008 is almost over. That's kinda crazy, this year went by so fast, and yet it went by kinda slow too... that doesn't make any sence Daniel... I know... I know. lol. But yeah anyways. Hope you guys had an awesome year, and I do plan on posting more before the year is over, lol. And I'm done for now, later..

| Hey everyone, sorry I haven't written in so long. I've been a lil busy lately. But yeah.
So basically I've been doing chores, school, and like nothing else, lol. No let's see, there were a few pretty cool things...
I was talking to Paul online last week and he mentioned his 4 wheeler, we were talking and after he figured out I never rode one he told me I should come over some time and ride his at his house. So I went and he showed me how, then we took turns driving around the course he had in the woods. After a while I started doing jumps too :D. I was like... "yeah, I'm not doing too great.." He's like, "you're a newbie, you aren't sopposed to be jumping at all!" haha. Later we went out at Night, but stopped around 9 because we didn't wanna mess with other neighbors sleep. At night, you gotta be more alert, but it's actually more fun for me, as long as you have the headlights on, lol. But yeah it was a lot of fun.
I went over again this week and I was better on it, I even scared him a few times because I jumped so far a few times, he was scared I was gonna go off the ditch and crash, lol. Before we put up the ATV I took him on a ride and went pretty fast and scared him a few times too, lol, and yes, I made him wear his helmet. But yeah. ATV's are Cool, and that was a lotta fun too, lol.
Yesterday Victory, my old school, was selling doughnuts again. So I went to help all day with that. It was fun, I sold 37 boxes, one of em was even to a guy on a motorcycle :D. lol. Let's see... a guy threatened me with a nailgun, I called a woman "sir", I dropped a bunch of doughnuts on the ground, and even.... ok I'm running out of neat things to say about that now. lol. I know more cool stuff happened though, really. But yeah, it was also fun.
Man... it's been like a month... lol. Between then and today I also went to the World Of Coca-Cola, which was lots of fun, got to hang out with friends and stuff. I sold doughnuts for a whole friday again before that last one, I went ice skating, after practicing for it for 2 weeks and did tricks like going backwards and spinning. Andd.... I donno. lol.
Next Friday, I think I'm going with Victory to Stone Mountain too... yeah see my mom pays me a lil to vacuum the sanctuary (at Victory, for tuition for Jonathan and AnnaRuth) for her while she cleans bathrooms, and I generally use that money to go on Victory's field trips, so yeah.
Last thing about Victory, I'm also practicing basketball a bunch because I want to go and be on their team when they start up :D.
Ok and... since Aug. 21st. Co-op started, it was cool to see peeps I haven't seen in like 3.5 years, and the classes are pretty fun. But yeah.
Ok... I'm done, I'm sorry that was so boring, lol. And... I'm done for now, thanks for reading :D, later....

| Hello everyone.
Hmm where should I start? Well basically I'm still on summer break and am doing random stuff because.. if I didnt do random stuff then I wouldnt be doing anything and that'd be boring. lol.
But yeah, so the Olympics are cool.... lol. Yeah I set up our TV, (bunnyears, we usually dont watch it but yeah), so we could watch it. It's pretty cool. Yeah go USA! Good job! lol. Oh yeah that reminds me though, I drank one of my 3 of 5 Olympic edition Coca-Cola cans, because A: I'm prolly not gonna be able to get the other 2, B: I can't sell em because no one wants em(checked ebay, lol) and C: I was like really super dying thirsty after rollerblading this last Monday and yeah... I deserved it :D.
Last Friday I went along with Victory (my old school), and we went bowling. (They let homeschoolers come with em). So yeah it was a lot of fun. I did better than I ever have too :D. **VIDEO HERE**
So yeah that was fun, and after that we went to the park and ate and then played football and elbow tag.
Realizing we were prolly gonna go ice skating in the near future, and also that I needed and wanted to practice rollerblading, I went rollerblading. But I got tired of the normal just going for a long time so I decided to learn how to go backwards. So I did that.. and after just 2 days I learned it, and now I can go backwards pretty fast but I still needa get better at looking back while going. Don't wanna run over any peeps at the rink. lol. I also learned a few other tricks so it makes skating a lot more fun for me. So yay! :D
So I always wanted an ithcus ring, like the ones with the Christian fish symbol on em? So I finally bought one. It's made of titanium and... yeah its awesome. lol. They say it retails for around $200.00 (I donno if that's accurate but that is about right with retail of titanim rings), but I got it for ebay for $17. :D **RING** That's a pic of it. But yeah I haven't worn a ring in a long time so I kept playing with it on my finger, lol. Anyways...
So my mom sent AnnaRuth to Victory and we had to get her some special P.E. shoes. So I found out they well em at this one place so we went there. They also had buy one get one half off and lucky for me... I needed new shoes :D. So yeah, we bought AnnaRuth's P.E. shoes for $10 less than we were gonna get em at the uniform store. And then we have the deal to get another pair at half price. So I looked and looked, and never found anything, but they said we had like 3 days or something so we could come back. We went to Walmart the next day and I ran/walked fast from Walmart all the way to Rack Room Shoes (10 mins, lol), and so when I got there I'm all like sweating and stuff. Anyways I'm looking at the shoes for like an hour, (yeah my mom knew I went there and she would come and pick me up), and the lady that works there keeps asking me if I'm doing ok or need any help, which was nice of her but I didnt need help I just needed to find some shoes I liked that didn't cost $50 at half price, lol. Anyways finally I found a nice pair of Adidas that were $60 that got marked down to $40, and then the half price cut them to $20. So that was a blessing from God, and I really like the shoes. They are running shoes so I have gone running down the road in them quite a few times and they do a good job. :D
I named my gerbil Mr. Deeds, even though his name was Lasko, then I gave his old name to the one I have that doesn't have a name. lol. Oh yeah I got an exchange for that crazy one and he is nice. lol. I can now say "I'm not talking to you Deeds, I'm talking to that squirrel over there." lol... (talking about Lasko, but he's not a squirrel, but I can still call him a squirrel)..... yeah I'm insane. lol.
This weekend I went over to Paul's house and swam at his Uncle's house about the whole day, it was fun. :D.
And... let's see my homeschool co-op starts in early September, so I'm excited about that, and my school will prolly start next week. Which I.... don't really care. lol. I mean I have to start some time, but then I also am not crazy happy about starting. lol. Ok but yeah I'm done, thanks for reading, later... | | |

Hey look it's mee!
Ok so yeah enough of that, and I'll refrain from showing you how terrible of an expert superior super-typist I am. Ok look, last week was a Day Camp at Victory, my old school. My lil siblings went to it and I went to help out with it. I had a good time. I met peeps, talked to peeps, helped kids on the zipline and with games and told em to stop being stupid and other stuff. Haha. I also got 3 of 5 of the Olympic Coca-Cola cans (they were selling them for 50 cents so I was like hey why not? :D.). And... I donno just helped whatever and had fun, but also got tired out, and had to take a nap when I got home.
About an hour after my nap that week I had to get ready and go to VBS for 1-12th grade. So that was pretty fun, I know churches usually don't have VBS for teens, but this church did, the same one I had teen Awanas at. Thursday I got enough "dinosaur bucks" to buy myself 3 snickers bars and a Reeces. I ate this one with almonds and caramel while I was playing volleyball. After that we had a waterballoon fight and I got soaked a few times but it was fun as they always are. After that we went home and I was hyper, we were at a red light and when it turned green I yelled to (not at, as in not in a mean way, lol) the tennis players at a tennis court. I said Ball 2! because they weren't serving the ball right and were messing up, oh well, I'm not much better than them nowadays, but 14 year-old me would beat us all like that *snaps fingers*. haha. Later an animal ran in front of our car and I was like "HEY!! GET OFF THE ROAD!!!" haha. I also told someone Merry Christmas. Yeah... I blame it on that snickers bar. 
And no I dont need a medication or mental help. Thanks anyways lol. So it was funny like 2 days ago I'm sitting at the computer an Jonathan goes, "woa!! there's a roach". I'm like kill it it's just a roach. And he said it went on his hand or something I'm like yeah yeah yeah... then like 4 seconds later there's this huge cockroach that crawls on my hand and scares the wits outta me. haha.
Yeah Daniel F. and I saw the Incredible Hulk in theaters and it was really cool. He bought some monster deal that came with a huge drink, slushee and bucket of popcorn, he let me have the drink and it didn't have a straw so I felt like I was drinking outta a bucket. I also had to make a speed break for the bathroom 3X during that movie thanks to it, haha. Then we went to Taco Bell and saw a man that's running for sheriff so we got his autograph. That was his birthday present for me, we also talked about stuff on the way back, it was fun.
My dad bought an iphone, one of the new ones like 2 weeks ago when they came out, he got up at 5 and went to the store, he said he was like 7th in line, and like 50 peeps lined up behind him, and of course the store ran out eventually, but not before he got one. So I got to play with it and it's pretty sweet. :D Which reminds me, I had an election to work at last week too. And I donno how it reminds me.. but it does. Oh yeah getting up at 5...
Yeah I got up at 5 and went there. I directed traffic half the day (got to wear the shiny yellow neon vest :) ) and got a killer sunburn on my forearms :(, which I haven't gotten in a while, I thought my arms were tan enough to ward it off forever because I mean... I haven't gotten a burn on my arms in forever. Oh well. lol. So yeah I told peeps where to park. Which was actually kinda fun. Except when they acted like they already knew how to park because it's not like they haven't been parking their entire life. That was just annoying. haha. Basicallly I was out there to tell peeps to park in handicapped spaces (ones we weren't using for the handicapped), and tell em not to park over here in these 4 handicapped spots, and yeah stuff like that. Then later I went inside and switched out with a guy that no offence, did a terrible job and shouldnt have gotten paid. lol. But yeah like I was saying, I went inside and gave peeps "I'm a Georgia Voter" stickers, took the voter cards, and told em to have a good day and stuff. So that was really really boring. But it was ok, and I feel like I'm better at being nice and friendly to peeps I don't know, because chances are I am. lol.
And last thing, ok not the last thing. Yeah, so 2 weeks ago I went to PetSMART and bought 2 gerbils, one died the next day when I was at church. The other one was fine. Then I went to David F's house and his lil brother from Ohio, Jamie came down and me, him, Joel, and Michael went swimming at thier motel. Then we came back to the church business meeting/picnic. Which we had to have inside because it was raining. Anyways my dad buried the gerbil which was too bad because you gotta actually bring it back to get an exchange... so... we had to dig him up. lol. And for you thinking no it wasn't gross, he was just like a cute stuffed animal that was hiding in the ground that got kinda dirty :D. haha. Anyways. So then we put the stuffed animal into 3 plastic bags and put that bag into the freezer in the basement. I did end up gettiing a replacement but they picked him out for me. And when I released him into the cage I knew there was something wrong with him... like mentally. lol. No seriously though, my dad thought he had rabies, lol. I called and they said he has an inner ear problem, but I can replace him for free if I want. Well besides the fact that he runs around the cage so much it scares me, chews on stuff crazily, digs under his food bowl so it spills, and pours bedding into it, and really isn't a very good pet I dont wanna exchange him, but I think I will. lol. I do feel sorry for him though, and hope he'll be alright.
Anyways my non-crazy one is fine, I named him Lasko... after my fan... yeah no there is noo meaning behind it I just was thinking of a name and looked at my fan and it said Lasko and I was like... yes... I will call him Lasko. haha. He's a pretty tame gerbil, I can even let him run on the bed and around my room. And you might be like why is a 17-year-old getting pet gerbils? And I'd say... I really don't know, but I want to so there. lol.
LAst thing! yeah.. I'm having a sorta late birthday party along with 2 or 3 other of my brothers, this Sunday and it should be pretty fun. :D. | | |
